Springfield Armory Prodigy 5'' w/ X300U-A Level II Duty Holster w/ Male Adapter

Holster seems to be made of thick, high quality kydex. The quick mount however, does not lock up tight. After attaching the holster to the mount, I noticed that it has quite a bit of play in it. Nearly a 1/16" gap between the two. This results in the holster flopping around excessively with no way to adjust the tension. Yes, it attatches and detatches quickly as advertised but for the price I expected better lock-up between the two pieces. Adding a thigh strap does not aid in this annoyance as the strap attaches to the drop leg and does not negate the holster from flopping around and making rattling noises. I added some Cordura wrap material between the two to stop the rattling noise and it does help with the "flop" somewhat but now it isn't a "quick" system and takes a lot of pressure to achieve lock-up between the holster and drop leg. Maybe I got a lemon but I suspect that this is a common issue. I was thinking of purchasing the "competition" model but I may just have to wait until other holster makers come out with models for the XP PRO. It's not awful, just could be so much better.

I have been looking for a holster of this style for some time and this one is perfect for me. Tension on the weapon is great and the hood is firm and snappy. There is a slight wiggle between the holster and the drop leg attachment but it is negligible. Fits on a 2 inch Ronin belt.

I placed two orders for similar holsters at the same time. One showed up last week. The other one is still in transit somewhere. Shipping was supposed to take up to 9 days. It was ordered on the 11th, today is the 26th. Shit happens. Of the two orders I placed, this was the one I really needed first. Go figure. Living in Alaska, you get used to it eventually. LOL

I love the holster for Canik METE Sfx Pro, just have a few problems with it. First the belt clip has two spacers that keep popping out and I have already lost one while working at the gun shop. I was thinking of gluing them in place but don't want to do that incase I need it for a 2" belt. This may be because I am using a KORE belt that appears to be thick and pushes the belt clip. The second little tic is the lever for the quick detach is a little difficult to engage when you are putting the holster on to the belt clip or the drop leg. I will get use to it as time goes on, I hope. Other than that I am enjoying the holster and still playing with the drop leg and seeing what configuration I want it for my battle belt.

Very happy with this holster. Sits very comfortably on my hip, I hardly notice it there. Made quite sturdy and very smooth to pull out. Hood functionality is also fantastic, quick release and tailored to my Canik Rival S very well. I’ve tried jumping and running with this thing and it doesn’t even jiggle while locked in place.

Retention is great, release is smooth with easy thumb release. Tried several other brands but as usual Black scorpion is king💪💪💪

Only had my level 2 duty holster for a little over a week now. I've had it out a few times and it is perfect. No adjustments needed for my Echelon. Absolutely love it!
