There a few things to note about this holster. FIrst, it's a great mold - simple, straightforward, and functional. Black Scorpion does competition gear extremely well, and their concealment stuff always feels a little like "hey, we can do that too" but it's not necessarily a bad thing, nor is it bad gear. It's 'pretty good'. Unfortunately, that means it's not 'great' gear. It does an okay job at AIWB and IWB in the 4-5 o'clock position, and it has some cant adjustment built into the two-screw belt loop... but it's not great at either position. In AIWB, in fact, I actually really dislike it; it's impressively uncomfortable - it'll dig into all kinds of things and prevent basic maneuvers like 'sitting down' or squatting to pick something up. I've tried adjusting things a bit and while it eventually got to the point of usability, the discomfort is a bit of a deal-breaker for me. In IWB, strong side carry (from 3-5 o'clock, or thereabouts), I found it to be more functional. Still not particularly comfortable and you're gonna print. I don't love the new 'claws' that have become the standard in IWB but they do work to tuck things in when your loop placement or holster shape doesn't do enough. This holster has no such elements, and it prints. It's a bit of a bear to get on and off, and the loop doesn't always keep the holster in place during a draw. It's not my favorite design. However! It's inexpensive and it *will* do the job for the most part.
